Achievements

How have they fared?  Of those students who have graduated from Traditional Learning Academy 92% have gone on to University or College and 45% of those earned a scholarship.

Scholarships: Our graduates have earned entrance and full scholarships to McGill University in Montreal, Royal Military College, Kingston, University of BC in Vancouver, Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, University of New Brunswick, Christendom (USA), Thomas Aquinas College (USA) and the BC Institute of Technology.

Pythagorus Mathematics Contest: A TLA student won 2nd place in Canada out of 21,000 entrants. The school placed 1st or second in BC numerous times.

Speech Arts Competitions: Many TLA students have placed at or near the top of each category of the Knights of Columbus Competition. One of our students placed 1st in the Coquitlam Speech Fesival and finished second in the Provincial Finals.

Chancellor Music Festival: TLA has been awarded numerous Gold, Silver, and Bronze Certificates in Individual and Group competitions in vocal, choral, sacred and instrumental categories over the past 8 years.

Roman Catholic Challenge: TLA has repeatedly placed 1st locally and often 1st or 2nd in the Western Finals in Oregon. (Schools compete in the knowledge of the Catholic faith).

Patrick Webb Pro Life Essay Contest: TLA students take many of the top awards each year.

Nicaragua Sponsorship: The students of TLA raise funds each year to help support a small school in Nicaragua called Stella Maria.
